Article Editor Settings
The Article Editor in Velaro’s Knowledge Base gives you full control over article content, layout, SEO, and visibility. Learn how to create, format, tag, and manage articles to improve the knowledge experience for your users.
1 | Preview Article | Preview the the article in a new browser window. |
2 | Title | Set the title of the article as displayed at the beginning of the article; this is also the html page title tag. |
3 | Slug | Auto-inserts the title as a slug (a human-readable URL string) which can then be modified to optimize SEO. |
4 | Topic | select a topic that has been predefined or add a new topic to associate the article to the topic |
5 | Description | provides a brief subtitle that describes the article displayed in the search results carousel and as a subtitle of the article in search results |
6 | Display priority | set the priority of display for the article as it is listed under a topic in both the home page view and in the table of contents navigator |
7 | Content | Write the article and add media. The content editor provides the following:

8 | Search tags | Assign one or more keyword search tags to improve search results |
9 | Publish mode | Det the article for public viewing in the portal for internal access only |
10 | Save and publish | Save the draft of the article or save and publish the article |
11 | Back to articles | Return to the article manager |
