Chrome blocks desktop notifications from every site by default, Velaro included. Turn notifications on for Velaro so you see a new chat, transfer, or away-timeout alert right away, even if you're not looking at that tab.

Turn On Notifications in Chrome

1. While on your Velaro site, click the icon just to the left of the address bar (a lock or a tune/slider icon, depending on your Chrome version).
2. Find Notifications in the panel that opens and turn the toggle on.
3. Refresh the page.

If notifications still aren't showing up, check Chrome's site settings and make sure Velaro is allowed there too: Settings › Privacy and security › Site settings › Notifications, then add your Velaro site to the Allowed list if it's not already there.
