Velaro Site: Overview

Velaro Site is Velaro's built-in website editor and publishing system for the velaro.com marketing site. It lets an authorized editor change any page's content or SEO fields, manage reusable content blocks (banners, CTAs, disclaimers), reorder navigation and footer links, manage redirects, and safely move a change from the staging site through to the live production site — all from one browser tab, with no code deploy required for a content change.
You'll find it at admin/site-builder.html on Velaro's internal admin domain. Every change you make there is versioned automatically, so nothing you publish is ever a one-way door.
Where changes go: staging first, then production
Velaro Site always publishes to v20.velaro.com (staging) first. Staging deploys on an hourly schedule, or immediately if an editor triggers an on-demand deploy. Nothing reaches the public production domain, velaro.com, until it's been reviewed and pushed through the Promote tab — see "Going Live: Staging to Production" for that workflow.
This two-stage model means you can make and review a change on staging, and even leave it there for a while, without customers seeing it. Production only moves forward on a deliberate action.
The tabs, at a glance

Who can use it
Velaro Site sits behind Velaro's own Microsoft Entra sign-in — see "Logging In" below. Being signed in lets you view the tool, but only a short allowlist of Velaro admin accounts can actually save a change; everyone else will see every action fail with an "Admin only" message. If you need editing access and don't have it, ask whoever manages the admin app's access list to add your account.
