Uplisting Integration
Velaro connects to Uplisting to give your AI bot access to reservation data, property details, and guest information. Guests can ask questions about their upcoming stay through chat, SMS, or voice and get accurate answers without involving your team.

Connect Uplisting
1. In Velaro, go to Settings → Integrations → Uplisting
2. Paste your Uplisting API key
3. Click Save
To find your API key in Uplisting: go to Settings → API in your Uplisting dashboard and copy the key.
Once connected, the integration status shows Active and Velaro begins syncing reservation data.

Use Cases
Guest asks about WiFi — Bot looks up the reservation by the guest's phone number or email, identifies the property, and returns the WiFi network and password from the listing.
Check-in time question via SMS — Guest texts your Twilio number before arrival. The bot finds their reservation and confirms check-in time and early check-in availability based on the listing settings.
Maintenance issue during stay — Guest reports a broken item through chat. Bot collects the description and unit details, creates a maintenance log in Uplisting, and confirms a response time to the guest.
Property manager asking about today's arrivals — Team member asks the bot how many check-ins are scheduled for today. Bot queries Uplisting and returns a list with names and arrival times.
After-hours check-in panic — Guest can't find the lockbox code at 11 PM. Bot pulls it from the Uplisting listing and sends it via SMS instantly.

Permissions and Data Access
The integration reads from your Uplisting account using the API key you provide. Velaro accesses:
- Reservation records (guest name, email, phone, dates, confirmation number)
- Property listings (address, check-in/out times, access codes, amenities)
- Housekeeping and maintenance tasks (read and create)
Velaro does not process payments or modify reservations through this integration.

Troubleshooting

| Bot says it can't find the reservation | Confirm the guest is searching with the exact email or name on the Uplisting booking. Check that the API key is valid: Settings → Integrations → Uplisting → Test Connection. |
| Property details are outdated | Velaro fetches live data from Uplisting on each request. If check-in instructions changed, confirm they are updated in your Uplisting listing. |
| Integration shows Disconnected | Your Uplisting API key may have been regenerated. Go to Settings → Integrations → Uplisting and paste the new key. |
