CRM Call Pop Plugin Setup: NetSuite and Dynamics 365
The call pop plugin shows the agent's live call inside NetSuite (the Velaro SuiteApp) or Dynamics 365 (the Velaro managed solution). Both have the same setup wizard on their integration page: Integrations, then NetSuite or Dynamics 365, then Open setup wizard on the Call pop plugin card.
Which package adds it
The plugins are part of the CRM Call Pop Plugins package. If the wizard says the package is missing, tell the customer the CRM Call Pop Plugins package adds it and that they can see their plan under Billing, Usage Overview. Never quote a price or a limit.
The four steps
1. Get the plugin: download the zip. The NetSuite zip already contains the customer's Velaro key, so nothing is pasted.
2. Install it: NetSuite, unzip and run npm run deploy in the unzipped folder with the SuiteCloud CLI, then open the Velaro Screen Pop page once. Dynamics, import the managed solution in the Power Apps maker portal and add the Velaro Chat Panel control to the form.
3. Verify connection: shows connected or not, last seen, installed version and latest version.
4. Pop style: banner, window, small notice or no pop.
Updates
Customers update by redeploying the NetSuite SuiteApp or re-importing the Dynamics solution. The wizard shows an Update available banner when a newer version exists. Settings are kept. Importing the new zip over the old one upgrades it in place.
The wizard never overwrites
It reads what is already set up and marks those steps as already set up, with a Change it button. Before a pop style change it keeps the previous setting, and the last few can be restored from the Pop style step.
Common questions
If the plugin shows not connected, ask the agent to open the Velaro page or portlet in NetSuite, or a form with the Velaro Chat Panel in Dynamics, then choose Check. Last seen is normal when nobody has it open. When the agent's CRM login email differs from their Velaro email, an admin links it under Users, then the agent, then CRM logins.
