Deal Health Scoring

Deal Health Scoring

Deal Health Scoring gives each active CRM opportunity a health score (0–100) based on conversation activity, response times, sentiment trends, and pipeline stage velocity. Agents and sales managers see at a glance which deals are progressing normally, which are at risk, and which need immediate attention.

Health Score Breakdown

Score RangeStatusMeaning
75–100🟢 HealthyActive engagement, positive sentiment, on track
50–74🟡 Needs AttentionSlowing engagement or neutral sentiment trend
25–49🟠 At RiskDeclining engagement, negative sentiment, or stalled stage
0–24🔴 CriticalNo recent contact, negative signals, or overdue follow-up

Scoring Factors

  • Recency — days since last conversation or CRM touchpoint.
  • Sentiment trend — are recent messages more positive or negative than earlier in the deal?
  • Response time — how quickly is the contact replying to outreach?
  • Stage velocity — is the deal moving forward or stuck in the same pipeline stage?
  • Engagement depth — total number of conversations and total messages exchanged.
  • Buying signals — recent detection of high-intent phrases boosts the score.

Where to See Deal Health

Deal health scores appear in:

  • Agent sidebar CRM panel — visible during any conversation with a contact linked to an open opportunity.
  • CRM integration pages (HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Pipedrive) — the deal list includes a Health column with color-coded status.
  • Reports → Deal Health — portfolio view of all open deals sorted by health score with drill-down into individual deal history.

Alerts and Actions

Configure alerts in Settings → Deal Health Scoring → Alert Rules:

  • Score drop alert — notify the deal owner when a deal's score falls below a threshold.
  • Stale deal alert — notify manager when a high-value deal hasn't had activity in N days.
  • Auto re-engage — trigger an outbound SMS or email sequence when a deal becomes At Risk.

Syncing Health Scores to Your CRM

Deal health scores can be written back to your CRM as a custom field. This allows your sales team to sort and filter deals by health score directly in HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics 365. Enable under Settings → [Your CRM] → Field Mapping → Deal Health Score.

Requirements

Deal Health Scoring requires an active CRM integration (HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or Pipedrive) with deal/opportunity sync enabled. It is available on the Professional plan and above.
