Overview

Velaro's in-chat payment feature lets agents or bots send a Stripe Checkout link directly in the conversation. The customer clicks, pays, and the transaction is confirmed — all without leaving the chat window.

Requirements

• A Stripe account connected to Velaro
• In-Chat Payments add-on (contact your account manager)

Connecting Stripe

1. Go to Integrations → Stripe.
2. Click Connect with Stripe and complete the Stripe OAuth flow.
3. Your Stripe products and prices are now available in Velaro.

Sending a Payment Request

From an agent: In any conversation, click the Payment icon, enter an amount and description (or select a Stripe product), and click Send. The customer receives a secure payment link in the chat.

From a bot: Add a Request Payment node to a workflow. The bot sends the link automatically at the right moment in the conversation flow (e.g. after confirming an order).

Apple Pay & Google Pay

The Stripe Checkout link supports Apple Pay and Google Pay automatically on compatible devices. iPhone customers on Safari see Apple Pay as the default payment method — no card entry required.

Transaction Log

All payment requests and their status (pending, paid, expired) are visible in Reports → Payments and in the individual conversation timeline.
