Velaro Site can manage more than one website from the same tool. Every page's content, drafts, scheduled publishes, and version history are kept completely separate per site — editing Site A never touches Site B's content or history.

Switching sites while you work

In the Pages tab, a site selector sits above the page list. Whatever site you pick there scopes everything below it — the page list, drafts, scheduled items, and the editor itself — to that site only. Your choice is remembered in your own browser, so you won't need to re-select it every time you come back.

Managing the list of sites

Open Settings > Sites to see every site Velaro Site currently manages, and to register a new one — an id, a display name, a host (the domain it will eventually live at), and a role (production, staging, or preview).

Registering a site here is a content-management step only. It does not, by itself, put anything on the internet — no domain, DNS record, or hosting is created as part of adding a site to this list. Provisioning the actual domain and hosting for a new site is a separate infrastructure step that has to happen alongside registering it here.

What "independent" means in practice

• Each site has its own page history — rolling back a page on one site can never affect another site's pages.
• Each site has its own drafts and scheduled publishes.
• The default site (the original velaro.com/v20.velaro.com marketing site) behaves exactly as it always has — nothing changes for you if you never touch the site selector.

FAQ

I registered a new site, but its host isn't live — is that a bug?

No. Registering a site here only sets it up inside Velaro Site's content system. Until the domain/hosting side is separately provisioned by an admin, the host you entered won't resolve on the internet — that's expected, not an error.

Does the Promote (staging → production) workflow work the same way for a second site?

The Promote tab today is built around Velaro's own primary marketing site. If you're managing a second site, confirm with an admin whether its production go-live path works the same way before relying on it.
