Chat Window Customization

Overview

Velaro's chat widget is fully customizable to match your brand. Change colors, logo, bot avatar, button style, greeting text, and position — all without touching code.

Accessing Customization Settings

Go to Channels → Web Messaging → Deployments → [Your Deployment] → Appearance.

Customization Options

Theme ColorPrimary color of the chat header and buttons
Logo / AvatarYour company logo or bot avatar displayed in the header
Widget PositionBottom-right (default) or bottom-left
Greeting TitleText shown above the chat window (e.g. "Hi! How can we help?")
Greeting SubtitleSecondary text (e.g. team name or response time)
Button StyleRound, square, or text-only chat button
Button LabelText on the launcher button (e.g. "Chat with us")
FontMatch your website's font family
Dark ModeAuto or always-on dark theme

Pre-Chat Survey

Optionally require visitors to provide their name and email before starting a chat. Go to Appearance → Pre-Chat Form. This data is automatically associated with the conversation and used to look up the customer in your CRM.

Live Preview

All customization changes are previewed in real time on the right side of the settings page. No need to save and reload your website to see how it looks.
