Step-by-step guide
1. Select 'Add new tag' from the google tag manager workspace.
2. Click on the tag icon to select a tag type.
3. Select Custom HTML.
4. In the HTML box paste in the deployment script that you generated via Chat Designer: Deploy
NOTE: When using GTM deployment in a Single Page Application, You must remove the Event listener function. Shown in the picture below, delete all the highlighted items.
5. Select the trigger icon.
6. Click the + icon to add a new trigger.
7. Select DOM Ready.
8. Name your trigger as you please and click save.
9. Name your tag as you please and click save.
10. Click Submit.
11. Click Publish.
